Just asking, can you suggest my first outdoor tree, as I would like some colour for my sheltered garden?

Little Oak Bonsai suggests... Indoor trees are becoming popular within the UK workforce. They come from warmer climates so need to be kept warm. Normal room temperatures are all that they require (15-21C). They also like an even distribution of natural light. Your first tree was a Chinese Elm, so maybe try a Serrisa now.

I was given a Bonsai for Christmas by my son. Unfortunately he didn't buy it from you and I had no instructions with it to enable me to look after it. It started to drop its foliage and to me it looked pretty dead. I took it to your nursery and you nursed it back to health, so I wanted to say thank you!

Little Oak Bonsai replies... You are very welcome. We see a lot of trees sold in too small pots, and without the correct soil. All our trees come with clear instructions on how to take care of them. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have a problem in the future.
